India's telecom regulatory authority, TRAI, on launched a mobile app to regulate unsolicited calls and messages by smartphone users. The "DND (Do not Disturb) Services" app will help its installers in easier management of unwanted telephonic interventions.
Available on Google App and Mobile Seva App stores, the app's installation will allow users to easily register complaints on unsolicited commercial communications (UCC). App for iOS users is currently under works and will soon be available too.
Once registered, the complaint will be delivered to the telecom service provider and one can also track the status of the complaint, according to a release from TRAI.
