Meizu released the highly anticipated flagship smartphone – the MX4 Pro, at the press conference today. According to the information Meizu has already revealed, the MX4 Pro is literally one of the best smartphones the Android ecosystem has ever offered. It has a 5.5-inch IPS display at the resolution of 2536*1440px. With a pixel density of 546PPI, it is claimed by Meizu to be the sharpest display ever used on a smartphone. The brightness of the panel is also amazing, at 450nit, it is usable even under direct sunlight. Above the display is the sapphire crystal, which has strong resistance to scratches.
The Meizu MX4 Pro is also the first smartphone from a Chinese brand to feature a 20nm processor. The Exynos 5430 octa-core processor used here is build upon 20nm process and has the big.LITTLE structure of quad-core Cortex-A15 and quad-core Cortex-A7. It is definitely one of the strongest mobile chip in the world at the moment. Besides the incredibly powerful CPU and GPU, the Meizu MX4 Pro is also equipped with 3GB RAM to take care of multi-tasking.
Like the MX4, the MX4 Pro also has a stunning 20.7MP rear-facing camera as well as a capable 5MP front-facing camera, arguably the best camera set-up for a smartphone. The 3350mAh battery is decent for a phone this size and could at least get the phone working for a whole day on one charge.
The MX4 Pro’s price starts from RMB2,499 (16GB version) and will be on sale on Dec, 6th.
